By providing students with real-world, hands-on experiences in a technically diverse and challenging environment, we hope to assist students grow professionally and academically. We offer a variety of opportunities for students with strong academic records and a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in engineering.
Student Employment/ Internships
Draper offers full-and part-time employment for students. Positions are offered during school breaks, summer breaks, and year-round. While most positions are engineering-oriented, we offer financial and administrative opportunities as well.
Co-Op Programs
Draper partners with several institutions such as Northeastern University, Wentworth Institute, and the University of South Florida to offer work study programs for both undergraduate and graduate students. These programs vary depending on the school requirements and schedule.
2012 High School Summer Internship Program
The Draper Laboratory High School Summer Internship program is soliciting applications from high school sophomores and juniors that are interested in participating in an 6-8 week paid summer research internship. The internship provides an opportunity for students to work with mentor scientists on a research project in one of Draper’s engineering disciplines while obtaining professional experience in support of academic preparation for a career in engineering or related science.
