Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors Overview
The Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors program supports deserving nonprofit organizations and institutions in Cambridge, Massachusetts that serve the Cambridge community through the provision of programming in:

  • K-12 Education (non-STEM)
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Human Services
  • Arts & Culture

Grants will be given for program support & development as well as scholarships. The average grant allocation in Draper’s Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors program ranges from $500-$3000. Grant making recommendations are made by a volunteer review committee that consists of employees from our Cambridge site. Only one grant per Draper Fiscal Year (July 1-June 30) is made to an organization.

Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors Grant Application Process
Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors grant applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year through our online grant proposal form. April 31 will serve as the cut off point for consideration in any given Draper Fiscal Year. All Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors grant applications will be reviewed annually beginning on May 1, with grant notification and/or payment being made in the first week of June of each year.

Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors Grant Limitations
Please note, Draper's Cambridge Neighbor-to-Neighbors grant program will not fund:

  • Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, or handicap.
  • Organizations and agencies without 501(c)3 status
  • Private schools
  • Individuals
  • Academic Research
  • Underwriting of film, video and television productions
  • Conferences, trips or tours
  • Political activities and organizations
  • Sectarian or religious activities
  • Advertising
  • Membership fees or association fees, either personal or organizational
  • Non-profits and schools that are not in Cambridge, MA
